When they say "Quotes"..

"Red is close to my Heart"!!

This is a small poem I read somewhere.. the original poem is in Gujarati, but I decided to give it a try in English.. It may not sound as good as it does in original language.. but it touched my heart..

Instead saying "I love You",
You gave me Red Rose
And shyness turned me.. Red...

When we started our new life together,
The hand prints on the wall.. were also.. Red...

One evening, while sun was setting,
You left... and the sky was.. Red...

Now very often, knowingly or unknowingly,
when I think about you.. and us,
My heart bleeds... RED...
My eyes turn... RED.....

Hmm... I have started this blog just so that I can save all those beautiful poems/sayings/notes and what not.... I used to write it down... but I think this is a better way to save it and appreciate it... :)
